CarnoCheck is the first DNA-Chip for the detection of animal constituents in food products. With CarnoCheck eight different animal species can be rapidly and unequivocally identified in processed food and complex-composition products. The low limit of detection (0.05 - 1% depending on the processing) permits the detection of even small traces of animal constituents in food & feed to clarify:

product safety and traceability
correct labeling
fraudulent replacement of food components
adverse reaction to unexpected food ingredients
